Electrical Rewiring

When deciding if your house needs to be rewired there are several things to consider.

Electrical inspection

Firstly we would recommend an electrical inspection, this will show what areas need work and how extensive the rewire needs to be.  When we carry out an inspection
and test we will provide a detailed list of items that don’t come up to the latest British Standard BS7671 17th Edition.  We will itemise the list and put estimates to the items to be dealt with.

We would always recommend a new fuse board using Residual Current Breakers, and when the work is completed we will issue an electrical installation certificate, which you can provide to future purchasers if you decide to move house.

Energy efficient lighting

If you are having major works to a property we would also recommend you consider installing more energy efficient lighting such as LED to replace dichroic or GLS type fittings, considerable savings can be made to your electricity bill by the reduction in electricity used.

Our guarantee

Whether you are considering a complete rewire or just some minor remedial works we always aim to provide a high quality installation.  All our work is guaranteed and backed up by the Electrical Contractors association Warranty and Bond Scheme, details are available on the ECA website.

You can choose to have a fully flushed in rewire where all of the cables are buried in the wall or the cheaper easier surface mounted option using mini trunking we will always do our best to accommodate your wishes.

We will give you a free estimate and point out the benefits of both system types, obviously with a flushed in wiring system in an old house there can be a fair bit of disruption especially if the house is occupied. However, if the house is empty and we can get access to all areas we will be able to carry out a neat installation ready for you to redecorate quite quickly.

We also accept Credit Card Payments.
